Tuesday morning rundown


*Plaxico Burress was indited yesterday on three counts, while Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce was not, leaving the Giants taking a huge sigh of relief. Plaxico on the other hand is in trouble. (Newsday)

*Urban Meyer signed a new 6-year deal yesterday paying him $4 million per season. It makes him the second highest paid college football coach in the country behind Pete Carroll. (Fox)

*New Washington Redskin, Albert Haynesworth received an injection in his left knee yesterday, but of course they say it was no big deal. Probably means he's going to have knee problems all season. (Washington Post)

*AFL is apparently going to announce it's folding soon. (ESPN)

*Denny Hamlin takes the win yesterday at the postponed by a day Pocono race. Hamlin had to deal with a lot over the weekend, his grandmother passed away three days before in Tampa, Florida. (Philadelphia Inquirer)

*Eagles middle linebacker Stewart Bradley's season is over before it started because of a torn ACL that happened yesterday in practice. (Philadelphia Inquirer)

*Eagles draft pick, WR Jeremy Maclin from Missouri agreed to a 5-year $9.5 million deal yesterday. (Philadelphia Daily News)

*Marshawn Lynch hoped to get out of his 3-game suspension and the league denied him. (Newsday)
